Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens are lovely, but the list of my favorite things grew tremendously last week at High Point market. We saw so many beautiful things and some really fun trends. I am going to post a series of some of my favorite companies and highlight the goodies.
A must-see first stop for me every time at market is the fabulous line from Eloquence. These guys know how to make a Francophile crazy. I went out of my mind at the beautiful possibilities of the current antique and reproduction collection. Of course, there is a HUGE trend of the white washed look with a lot of linen and grainsack. These guys really do it right. I go ga-ga over their architechural collection of old doors, windows and shutters.
Here are some coveted finds:
Grande and fabulous antique door set. I would set these as a backdrop in a large family room or kitchen.
These just play to my obsession with old shutters.
I feel like I am in Italy with this chandelier.
another obsession, Swedish settees and daybeds
1930 Belgium mannequin- Here is what started the trend, now carried by everyday brands like Pottery Barn
1910 hand strung cane back settee, totally FAB!
Louis XV Corbeille tufted bed
adorable Louis XVI Giverny nightstands
such a fun piece! 1880 tufted armchair
yet another love, trumeaus. this one 1910 with tapestry
amazing Louis XV serpentine bedroom chair
A must-have classic Belgium commode
What a magnificent showroom…
